Banks in Ontario, OR

Answer (7):

?

Well I had a credit card with President's Choice and the service was..........AWFUL !! They kept charging "ghost" transactions and mistook us for someone else. Very very slow to correct too ! Kept making mistakes about personal info as well and when corrected..extremely lazy to do anything at all. So I am not using it anymore.

It is a shame really because you accumulate lots of points very rapidly and you save a lot on food.

I am with Bank of Montreal (BMO) but for no reason whatsoever, they cancelled my debit card a few times! Totally out of the blue ! When asked the reason why, not in the red at all, they could never explain why either ! And they talk crap about the air miles.

Well you will have to compare interest rates. various charges etc between the banks especially if you have a mortgage to pay.

TD is popular so is CIBC.

Lots of people do not like ING but I forgot why..sorry !

Maybe am not lucky with those banks ??

I would say President's Choice Financial. They might not quite have all the services of the big banks (no business accounts, for example) but they have a lot of perks and incentives for their customers and very few extra fees for every day banking.

Canada trust are adding charges by mistake many times so far , and I have to go to the bank every time and they will apologize ....!!!!

President's Choice Financial. Completely no fees! What's more, since they are powered by CIBC, you can access your PC Financial account at any CIBC bank machines (ATM) for completely surcharge free!

ING Direct is planning to roll out its own no-fee bank account in the coming months, that new bank account is called "THRiVE". If you want to learn more about THRiVE, go to their respective links:

The downside of ING THRiVE is that while the first book of cheques are free, additional cheques are $20CDN!

Cheers.
