can anyone recommend their bank ??? I am totally cheesed with mine HSBC. I dont know if its a hassle to change banks but I'm so angry that I feel I ought to do something non violent ha ha ha. One I can talk to without the fear of being connected to a recorded message

well id like to recommend my bank the alliance & leicester but they are a little too fond of thier bank charges-on the whole all banks are the same though people rave about First Direct-one catch you have to pay in £1500 a month-if thats not a problem for you then id recommend them

Open an account with a local credit union. You will still need a bank for direct debits etc but you can save and borrow with a credit union. Or you could try your local building society.

Wells Fargo has wonderful customer service and live people talk to you. This is from someone who has had very poor customer service at another bank.

Have been with HSBC for quite a long time now...But they seem to be okay...
