Bank account help?I sent natwest bank proof of ID in the post last thursday 8 days ago so they can process my application and send me my bank details.I havent recieved any details in the post yet no card or no pin number no bank details.How long do i normaly have to wait for my details to be send in the post? |
It usually takes up to two weeks to open an account as the banks are legally obliged to do checks which will prevent money laundering
I always feel for something like this it is best to provide this sort of information in person at the bank
Chase them up anyway , if they want you business make them work for it !! Good Luck
longer than that. When I used to open accounts for one of their rival companies it used to take about 10 days for a card to be generated, and that was the final stage of opening an account. So I would allow at least another week, and it could take even longer. Don't assume that they will order your card as soon as they receive the ID, it might take a few days before the post gets to the right person!
it takes about 12 - 14 working days which is monday to saturday soo about 2 - 3 weeks i guess but it shouldnt be that long
I sent things to them 5 months ago and I never had a reply and went to make a complaint and there wasnt any log of my call!!
According to their website it takes two to four weeks.
