You mean HEDGE FUNDS a.k.a holding banks.
The Obama Administration has both enabled and fueled the speculation.
The Banks were supplied with the money via bail outs and the subsequent low interest rates of the Federal Reserve.
You do realize that oil speculation is a zero sum game (well other than brokerage costs) and that if one group of speculators makes billions that another group will lose billions, don't you?
Simply don't bail out the losing speculators and the market will sort itself out.
Government interference only makes things worse.
I hope they throw them under the jail and throw away the key. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with this.
