Try other Banks, or find if there is Bureau de Change.
However when I was in Istanbul I found my self with Iranian Rials that the Iranian Bank in Istanbul wouldn't take LOL, I went to our man in Istanbul at the Embassy and he kindly ran me down to the souk where a chap exchanged the Money for Turkish Dinars, remarkably I got a better exchange from him than any of the Banks in Iran were offering!!
So my suggestion is bang an advert on Gumtree and see if anyone is going to Bahrain and would like some cheap currency.
Lets face it if no one else will take it, you might as well get something for it.
Why not sell to a currency collector? I'm sure there are some around you that collect that type of currency.
