Your options depend on the experiences. Experiences vary, depending if you are a customer, a teller, the bank president, or the night janitor, etc. Stated differently, their particular experiences determine their particular options.

It takes 5 years for a person to become a banker, with a degree. Six months experience in a bank is a great start but you have just started to scratch the surface. You'll have little or no regulatory knowledge and won't be able to make decisions by weighing industry best-practice versus customer expectation. Stick with it and you might have a better future in this or another industry.
