Banks in Hamilton, IN

Answer (1):

tuffy

Hamilton wanted a national banking system, rather than local or state banks operating without sufficient funds to weather recessions or widespread unemployment in a particular geographical area. States rights advocates wanted local banks for the local population. Regulation was questionable for local banks.

People wanted to know the bankers, rather than having people outside the area operating banks for certain segments of society while leaving many people out of the services of particular bank with biased loan policies.

Hamilton was inclined toward the British rather than the French who more continental.

Hamilton was a fan of the British style of government, but without the royalty.
