let's not confuse the crisis in Lebanon with the crises in Palestine.... the militia fighting in Lebanon is Syrian backed Fatah Al- Islam.... it's not the same as Fatah in Palestine....

This is NOT a religious war... this is a political war

They're fighting over power...... Hamas was elected to govern Palestine by the majority of the people in the election... Fatah would never give Hamas the full authority to govern
Arafat founded Fatah back in 1959 and up to this day there is still not a peace treaty with Israel nor has Israel recognized Palestine. Even though Fatah is more moderate and is all for peace talks which to this day mind you has never had a lasting resolution.

The US pushed for a democratic vote in Palestine and even though the Leader Mahmoud Abbas warned the US it wasn't a good idea still the US pushed for an election. So Palestine held an election and Hamas won the majority of the votes. Maybe because Fatah tried for peace for all of these years and failed maybe the Palestinian people thought Hamas might govern differently, maybe they thought it was their only chance for change.

America is now taking sides with Fatah and America sees Hamas as a terrorist militia group so, because Hamas won the elections fairly, and the US and others were against Hamas so they cut aid to the Palestinians. Fatah didn't want to give Hamas the complete authority to govern Palestine and tried to share the leadership which went from bad to worse.

Fatah recognizes Israel and Hamas does not. This the the reason the US is on Fatah's side bottom line.

Now the fighting has escalated in Gaza.......it's no wonder, because when other countries have broken the trust and turned their backs on the Palestinians leaving them hungry, hopeless, impoverished, and people are held prisoner in their own land being under occupation for decades. They begin to see no way out they begin to turn against each other.
So very sad.

2 things can happen
1. Fatah will fight Hamas and take control of Gaza
2. Israel will fight Hamas and Palestine will change forever

or maybe a 3rd....... Hamas will continue to control Gaza and see it they can govern successfully.

Whatever the outcome....... I wish Peace for Palestine

The base of it all is the balfour declaration(research on yahoo). it basically stole the pals land and created israel...then after wwII with the creation of israel the jews or zion terrorists of ariel sharon now in a coma pushed the pals onto the west bank and gaza.
Now you have hamas the good trying to get the land back for the pals and push the fatah the bad and stooges of israel and the us out so the pals can have their land back.
Hezbolah will do the same in lebanon of which israel is trying to push into submission, but fail everytime...Iran & syria are supporters of both.

All in the interest of the legitimate good players the pals against the illegitimate bad players of fatah & israel

Got it? But read the balfour dec that'll help you alot.

Israeli fanatic leaders want to keep occupying land that was never part of Israel and to do so they planed the Gaza withdrawal. Israel plan to create a Palestinian state in Gaza only and keep most of the West Bank occupied.
The Gaza plan is a copy of the South African Zolo plan for black South Africans. wizebloke Today Palestine =david

For Americans, history is only important for the last 200 years.
Jews and Palestinians recall conflicts from 4000 years ago to feul their resentment.

One of the earliest fights was between David (a Jewish farm boy) and Golioth (a Palestinian fighter from Gaza). Each battle only throws more feul on the fire.

The First Dragon

Since the 1930s, when Britain had the Mandate to govern the Holy Land, people like Abd al Qadir al Husseini have agitated to remove all Jews from the region, and to have total Arab control of the area with an Islamic state. Today's Fatah is directly descended from this ideology. The name means "conquest," a reference to the original Muslim conquest. It is one of many militant Arab/Muslim anti-Israel organizations, and the largest. But since Israel has made huge concessions, the Fatah-dominated government of Palestine has engaged in limited cooperation with Israel.
Since 1987 Hamas has grown dramatically, with an even more intense and violent desire to destroy the government of Israel and eliminate Jewish power in the region. It carries out regular terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians.
Although the stated aims of Fatah and Hamas are similar, their strategies are different, and there is intense rivalry between them. Hamas gained enough support to win elections in 2006, and since then has initiated rocket attacks on Israel, and scuttled Fatah's policy of relative cooperation with Israel. Consequently fighting has broken out between Hamas and Fatah, as well as between Hamas and Israel.
So it seems to me that Fatah is bad, Hamas is worse, and Israel (which allows freedom of religion and tries to avoid civilian casualties, and provides free medical care even to its enemies) seems pretty good.

well, thanks to america, this has happened.

when abbas took office with his fatah, and nicer, government, everything was getting on track as to speak.

well, america kept pressuring abbas to hold elections, even though abbas kept warning against it, but america said they will with hold money if elections were not held.

so, abbas held elections adn guess what?! the western hating hamas terror group won.

then the power struggle started, now it has come to this.

way to go america, your foreign policies have once again shown through.
