I would say it should not be necessary that you bank blood if you are not suffering from blood clotting diseases or on any medications that thin the blood(which your doctor should have told you to stop about 2 or 3 weeks) to the surgery.

An exploratory laparoscopy is done using an endoscope of some sort so technically there is very little bleeding at least not enough to make you need blood. Unlike an exploratory laparotomy that involves no endoscope and the bleeding is a little more because the incision is way bigger. But still for both procedures i really don't think you would lose enough blood that you should blood bank if you are healthy except you otherwise wish.

It is unlikely that you will suffer any adverse bleeding issues during your surgery. Even so, your doctor MAY have taken a blood sample, so that if needed, the lab would be able to provide a matching blood sample for transfusion. If the worst came to the worst there are procedures in place to be able to deal with any blood loss and emergency transfusions if necessary.
Hope this helps x
