H&R block emerald advance bank info?

Thanks! I actually did call that number and was able to speak with a rep. That person confirmed that they are doing credit checks (looking to see if you owe the irs, hr block bank, back childs support, or outstanding student loans). She also informed me that currently their systems are down NATION WIDE. I told her that alot of people have been getting denied, and she said that she wondered if it was because of their system problems. She said to try on Nov. 28th or 29th and that the systems should be up and runnning again.

Hopefully when I go, I will get something. I could really use that money right about now!

i found the phone number to the bank that h&r block uses for their advance. call this number 816-504-1405 at first you'll get transferred to a voice mail that don't accept messages then you'll get transferred to an operator. COMPLAIN!!! that's what i did!!! they were speechless!! i told them that...

i attempted to call that number 4 times, all during different times of the day to complain. each time i was cut off and never spoke to anyone live. finally i called 1800hrblock again and said all that i had been told by both hr block office and 1800hr block. the rep on the phone was very receptive to what i was saying and took my complaint. i explained that i had been lied to, and wasted my time TWICE because of what i was told by the both the office and the 1800 number.
if enough people call maybe things will change, but i doubt they would. couldn't hurt tho, huh?
anyways, anyone who does call please keep in mind the people u speak to on the phone to complain to have NOTHING TO DO with the decision hr bank makes. they can just take down the information and pass it on. so if we can all do so kindly we can maybe get somewhere with them.
