his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems...

Haven't I answered this question 3 or 4 times this week. Check the resolved questions. If you don't like the answers, asking again won't help.

This is very unfortunate. I have next to me a dear friend who has been a professor of law at a prestigious university in Malibu, CA who could easily answer this question. However, after checking your profile in which you have asked this same identical question 10 times since August 7th and received many good answers, he told me not to bother typing in his response to someone who obviously only is looking for an answer that he wants to hear. So, there you go. And Fr. Chuck is 100% right, he will have to pay back ALL of the money from the robbery. Now if I see this question one more time...

I suggest we simply stop replying to this same foolish question. Perhaps a lack of response will give him the idea.

Your friend is STILL at it? I'd still like to know what you're doing asking this question over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Somebody should investigate you.

guess you don't like the answers you are getting, no this is not realistic.

And he will have to repay the money.
