You generally don't find U.S. banks in Mexico. The only U.S. banking label that I can recall seeing is Citibank, but that's because of their incestuous ties with Banamex. I've seen Citibank locations in D.F. and Monterrey, but I understand that they're really just Banamex branches that cater to gringos.
NO. but you can use your atm debit card at a zillion atms. you might want to use the ones affiliated with your bank. AND TELL YOUR BANK YOU WILL BE USING IT IN MEXICO BEFORE YOU LEAVE or they will not let you use it in mexico for 'your' protection... citing unusual 'activity' and tell them exactl y when you will be using it there. if you use it at restaurants or stores, make sure they run your card in front of you, or risk getting it cloned.
