For instance, if I deposit 500 pesos in lets say Bancomer (Bank in Mexico) can it transfer to my Wellsfargo account here in the U.S? Safely?.....If yes, then all I need is my account number and a photo I.D. right?....

To wire international money to USA is no problem. The bank in Mexico will need to verify your ID based on their policy. They only need your bank information such as address, routing number and account number to send the money to a USA account. You can get that information from wellsFargo

The sender need not be the owner of the account in USA - no ID required for the USA account for deposits

Wire transfer is the safest way.
A cashiers check if it is lost, is tied up for 4 months until anyone can get the noney back!!! I am not sure how othe paper checks work. Safest way is bank to bank money wire about $10-$30. You will pay an exchange fee no matter how you transfer.

You can do a wire transfer, or use SWIFT to move the money, however, there will be a transaction fee and a currency exchange fee.

If you have a credit card linked to your Wells Fargo account, you should be able to simply "pay a bill" online using your Bancomer account and select your Wells Fargo credit card as the payee - this way, you'll pay less in fees and get a better exchange rate.

500 Pesos? How much is It in dollars?
You have to Contact Bancomer first , ask them what you want to do, they might charged you an exchange rate fee ,from Pesos to dollars....
You should leave those 500 Pesitos in Mexico for a night out with the Se~oritas, and some Coronitas,,,,,,Next time you're back in Mexico..Amigo....

Good Luck, Buena Suerte Amigo!!!!!!!!!!
