I need to build a wooden bridge over a creek that is aproximately 15 feet wide with 6 foot banks on either side. The ground is not soft at all Does anyone have any suggestions on how to build it? I want to be able to take an atv accross it. Pictures would be great as long as there are many of them and they are of...

A 15 foot span is pretty big for wood, might try making the bridge a pontoon bridge, with entry and exit ramps that double as anchors for the pontoon bridge. The process of building this is way too long to go into here. But you could use used barrels as the floats (seal the tops good) or plastic barrels for longer life. Your loading will be pretty light for ATV crossing.

Do you have trees? Felling a couple good trees can supply your beams for crossing the creek and the branches can be used, by lashing or bolting, to be the surface.

I have one i built and in a heaRTBEAT i would have rather had a used old flatbed off a semi or truck. even paying a crane would be faster and i think better.
