How do you get a bank account with neg ChexSystems report and Bankruptcy in Orange County, CA?I had some huge credit and banking problems and filed bankruptcy last year. Everything was discharged in Feb 2006. Now, I am back on my feet again in a big way, and I can't get a bank account anywhere. Does anyone know of a bank that will work with me? My mattress is getting lumpy! |
There are some banks that will work with people on the ChexSystem. Most of those banks require you to attend a "Get Checking" class on personal finance, where, upon completion, you receive a certificate and a list of banks that accept the certificate.

I went through the same thing recently. Hard as heck to get one. Luckily I have a realitive who works for a credit union,NBow I am with OCTFCU. KNow wnyone working for a credsit union?
try bank of america. i have serval bad checks with chexsystems, dating back 4 yrs ago, yet i went on-line and applied at www.bankofamerica.com and opened a checking and savings account in less than24 hrs. good luck GOD bless
