I'm tired of searching for a bank in the Orange County area that will allow me to open an account for $20, has Free checking, Free ATM machine use, Free online bill paying, and no monthly or annual fees. I do not want to bank with BofA, WaMu, or Wells Fargo. It seems that every time I find all the supposed free...

Try a credit union.

The banks don't have those deals anymore.

One shot would be U.S. Bank... but you have to be lucky enough to come in on one of their promotions.

Credit Union, I've dealt with Orange County Teachers CU, They are real nice. Call and see if you are eligible.
