Monuments are permanent landmarks, established for the purpose of indicating boundaries. It thus clearly mentions that all such cultural heritage intermixed with the natural heritage of the place.

Its an area of awe inspiring physical beauty where massive forts and magnificent palaces are found even in the remotest parts of the state.

Its thriving colourful folk culture and over thousand years of history and myths have been passed down generations as stories of valour and love.

It adds more beauty on banks. thats why people admire monuments...

Human civilization itself started near river banks, though sometimes the town moved away or people shifted inland for some reasons. Rivers also served as natural barricades against invasion. Moreover, water is considered to be a medium to communicate with the spirits of the dead. Water evaporates, and the lighter medium of air like fire carries the offerings people make. This is a matter of faith. But to non-believers the silence of the monument, the emotions they evoke in our minds, and the whisper and giggle of the river or stream are a perfect setting for introspection. Aesthetics makes man a human.

Because rivers and ports are the gateways to most busy cities. And people remember the most spectacular things they see, more than anything else. which is why they are made famous ( cos they are the things more people see)
