Does my Oyster card get charged if I switch between Bank and Monument stations in the London Underground?I just did that today and had to tap out at Monument and in again at Bank, as though they were separate stations. I forgot how much was on my card so I'm not sure if I was double-charged. |
If you go to a ticket machine in one of the stations, you should be able to see what journeys you've made in the last few days & what you've been charged for them
Many "interconnecting" stations which require leaving one station to change (Bank/Monument; Liverpool mainline/underground; Bow Road/Bow Church) have a time limit to check out and in and not be double charged.
To check, you can either call up the Oystercard Helpline or get a printout of latest journeys and charges from any station kiosk.
