That bankruptcy bill was basically written by the banks, the credit card companies and other lending entities that lobbied heavily for its passage. Real abuses were not addressed, but with so many Americans heavily in debt, creditors strengthened their position. It's scary that most Americans were paying so little attention.
He also voted yes to allow the credit card companies raise the interest rates! Hes really looking out for the citizens. Change, what he means is change for the worse.
