Changing over my checking account to another bank?

Share |

I live in Ohio, and I've banked with 1st National bank since I was like 15. I'm twenty now. They keep changing the way they do things, & upping certain fees..it's kind of getting frustrating. It's not just overdraft fees. (My account has only been overdrafted three times that I've banked there.)...

It never hurts to shop around for a new bank. I use Bank of America because I get free online checking with direct deposit of my paycheck. If you can't do direct deposit look for a bank that has free checking/free atm fees without needing direct deposit. I belive Commerce does that. Shop around and figure out what you need out of a checking account. Important things to look for are Free Checking, Free ATM, and Overdraft Protection.

You should definitely leave your bank if you're not happy with them. There are pleant of others out there.
