The govt wont tell you because they or anyone else can't accurately predict when or where an earthquake will strike
Anyone who claims to be able to predict an earthquake is a huckster, ignore them
How do you know when an EW is going to happen in WA? There is no way of predicting them. If there is an Earthquake and bad, you can rest assure that all business will be closed and the banks are usually the first to close for every stupid thing.
There is no reliable way to predict an earthquake with that precision.
