There has been no news although Game Freaks did announce that there would be some sort of connectivity with Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
Game Freak's Pokémon Go has to fail, if Pokémon Go succeeds then Nintendo will continue forward much like Konami into The Mobile Gaming boom in Japan. IF The People want Pokémon to remain as it is, they mustn't download or participate in Pokémon Go!
There hasn't been any official news regarding PKMN Go lately so we don't know, but they did say it will have some connectivity with other games and they did say that the bank will work with future games though once again we don't know anything regarding it.
