You might want to work on your geography.
The Susquehanna Bank Center is NOT on an island. It's on the New Jersey mainland.
You can take a ferry from Penn's Landing to the Susquehanna Bank Center (it's only $6 round trip, no where close to $40 each way). You can also drive over the Ben Franklin Bridge and park in a garage next to the venue. You could take PATCO, but that would mean a walk through Camden, and I wouldn't recommend that.
Camden gets all the good bands, because the Susquehanna Bank Center is the only outdoor venue in the Delaware Valley designed especially for concerts.
