Will a bank accept checks that have been wet?

I recently got some checks in the mail and preceded to drop them in water. Does anyone know whether that will be an issue when I go to deposit them. They're still completely intact and legible, hopefully that will be ok.

As long as everything is legible, as you state (date, who's payable, amount to be paid, and signature), the bank will accept the checks.

I would contact your bank. Some banks would be wary to cash them if they look suspicious (eg: looking like they have been wet could be a sign of counterfeit or "washed" checks.) I would contact your bank if it is a problem contact whoever sent you the checks, explain your story and it shouldn't be an issue on getting them voided and re-sent.
