Banks in Fossil, OR

The World bank is part of United Nations which is doing it's best to reduce CO2 emissions, for political reasons.
But never mind China has come up with a bank and is willing to fund power stns and infrastructure.
Japan also is helping developing countries build coal fired power stns, as they have several companies which build these plants, there reasoning is, if they don't help less efficient dirty power stn's will be built anyway.

Most of the African countries are run by psychopathic hooligans, thugs, warlords, and scammers. Even though I can't stand the World Bank's policies, they are not dumb enough to turn any money over to the scumbag leaders of Africa (So. Africa is the only country to be trusted).

In retrospect, I hope they finance all of their endeavors without worrying about an ROI. They most certainly have done it with European nations that can't reasonably pay them back. They could claim all of the unpaid debt by using their financial thuggery by taking African lands.

I digress. It would show their cards too easily. They are already in bed with the UN to finance climate change apocalyptic programs designed to 'mitigate and rebuild' before and after climate change catastrophes.

The warmers hate people in Africa and want them all to die. That is why they petitioned the World Bank to stop lending to build coal power plants.

Warmers love the deaths of millions of Africans. For some sick reason it make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I think it is because they are psychopaths.

What warmers??? You disagree? You think this an unfair assessment of your character and motivations???

As a number of you warmers think it is fun to call those who disagree with you, "psychopaths", is turnabout now not fair play???

Chuck,
Coal power plants are long term and given that 4 million people a year die of respiratory illnesses caused by burning dung and other things inside to heat their homes, CLEARLY a power source would be helpful.

Out of curiosity, do you have any valid estimate of the death toll caused by AGW now and in the future? Seems odd to me to support policies that CAUSE death, while not knowing whether these policies are even going to save as many people as they kill. Maybe I am just weird that way in expecting people to want to save lives.

When did you stop beating your wife?

The World Bank funds initiatives which not only have net benefit, but also no harm. It will fund clean water and hospitals.

Building new coal plants will not mean electricity for subsistence farmers who live in mud huts. To supply electricity from coal plants, you need a transmission system a distribution system, power meters and the means to pay the power bills, or service will be cut. Solar power will benefit subsistence farmers more, because they won't be billed.

Why is there a World Bank anyway? Whose bright ******* idea was that?

Chuck

Because it funds policies that are long term and that have benefit

The UN won't allow it. Global warming--or freezing--or whatever. They would rather people die.
