I was wondering the same thing, maybe they are trying to incorporate the briefcase into his gimmick, but Miz can't cash it in again, so it seems like he shouldn't be allowed to keep it, maybe after he is established a little more as Champion he stop carrying it with him!

why not keep it around? it makes his finisher actually look brutal, beforehand the Skull Crushing Fanale was kinda weak, but with the briefcase its pretty vicious...
