Depends on what kind of account you want to open-savings, checking, IRA, or some kind of investing account. Once you decide on that ask some friends or coworkers for their suggestions of a few banks to compare. Don't forget to consider their location compared to where would be most convenient to you! You can try calling around or even seeking info online but since most banks are owned by bigger banks I find it's best to walk in to a few banks and get their info first-hand. Ask about fees, limits, rates, etc.-again this depends a lot on what kind of account you are getting.
i like chase they always send things in the mail saying if you open an account they'll give you a hundred dollars lol
