Where can I find Oxygan Sancer on Bank 2 And Sancer 1 in Lincoln Town car 1996?i am confuse that which bank is 1 an which bank is 2 in my lincoln town car 1996? Can you please tell me where can i find that and will Sancer number 1 would be inside the hood or under the car? i will appreciat the help. |
Bank one is on the right side of the car (cylinders 1-4), and bank two is on the left (5-8). Sensor one is the first sensor which sees the exhaust (either in the manifold or shortly after), and sensor two is the one (or two if the car has dual exhaust) that's after the catalytic converter (if dual exhaust, then bank two, sensor two is on the left side).
bank 1- is dependent upon the manufacturer, generally though,bank 1 is where #1 cylinder is.
I dunno but most Lambda sensors are in the exhaust manifold before it reaches the pipe flange
