Is there any reason why you couldn't ask the owner who is renting to you? If not you can find the information at the Courthouse where the property records are for your property and look up the bank who is on record as owning the house and contact them to get details. I am assuming you are asking b/c you want to purchase it? Maybe they will let you take over the payments. It's worth a try. Good luck.

Loans and property titles are of public record and you can get this information yourself at the county recorder's office. If the bank is foreclosing on your rental, then most likely they have posted a notice of default on your door with the information you need. There are also laws that help protect you during the transition, including required notification.

You need to ask the landlord, however that information is none of your business and no one has to share that with you. If your car was getting repo'd, would you want anyone to be able to see which bank you stiffed?? You are not a party to the mortgage contract, therefore you have no legal right to that information.

go to the courthouse or county records.
