Banks will fee you to death to make money.......and they've been sitting on billions of it and more isn't enough for them.

Now, Chase is getting on the "let's screw our customers and charge them a checking account fee just for having a checking account".

Let me get this correct......it's your money - in their bank - they use for what ever they want and they charge "you" a fee for them using your money?

That about sum it up?

Bilbo Baggins

I think they learned from our own politicians actually.

one for instance among 1000s....

1983 congress passed what was known as the Social Security Reform Act.

In the dead of night .............they passed this bill at 1:15 in the morning.

It had nothing to do with reforming it to benefit recipients.

This bill allowed money to be reallocated from the U.S. Treasury to what ever pet project came down the pike off the backs of regular Americans. They have no money to payback the borrowing they have done.

It is not a trust fund as the name implies Citizens all know it as the "S.S. trust fund". It is only an allocation of money paid from the Treasury Dept.

There is no big pile of funds as many people believe.

Here is an example. I wrote to a local republicans legislator here in my state.

I asked to have my S.S. funds to be reallocated to a tax debt .(tax debt..that is a very lame misnomer ....more on that after bit) .... ,just as congress reallocates monies from the U.S. Treasury.

Basically I asked to borrow against my social security I had already paid in taxes. The letter(which I kept) The reply was stated thus :

The United States Government cannot borrow money from any taxpayer funded program.

.........He the go's on further to say....

In no way or fashion can the USA Government borrow money from Social Security Trust Funds/ without paying interest on the money borrowed against the U.S. citizenry .

You do see what he did right.....? Basically he was talking out both sides of his mouth. What the Native Indians called( white man speak with fork tongue).

They have not paid any accrued fund money since 1983. Our government has not even kept up with the interest payment due to borrowing the monies. Let a lone paying off anything on the actual debt.

They have basically written IOUs promises to pay back on the good faith of the united states government.

So ya wonder how things like private companies can do dirty deals....? That is because they use Lobbyists to tell Politicians that if you tell on us we will tell on you ~!~

Then to save face the government fakes a reprimand and fines them . You know...the 0le proverbial slap on the wrists....Or go to a country club prison.

I got more if ya want to know how many 100 of Billions of foreign loans our government has completely forgiven. Yet we must pay through the nose in taxes and tax breaks for more affluent of our country.

Did ya know that it is illegal to have pay any federal tax..? ( Not local tax) but federal. But if you don't the Treasury department can take all you own and throw you in jail. Not a country club jail like ones for Martha Stewart or The Connecticut Governor 3 years or so ago either.

People these days can just sign a contract without bothering to read it or ask questions and then expect to get out of it later by complaining. Personal responsibility is out the window.

They should be forced to forgive consumer debt if they have taken money from the government. .
