Nothing,,, we should expect always that people get married for some reasons,, One of these reasons ,is the financial capability.. what is the difference between a bank account, and how beautiful/handsome the spouse is,,, I mean the financial capability is one aspect to choose a spouse,, Yes it was said that (women are married for 4 reasons:her wealth,(and) her beauty,(and) her (noble Family) and for her religion.....) so the wealth is one aspect of Marriage either for man or for woman....It was advised to choose the person for his/her religion ,, But still, in the hadith :there is equality among the rest 3 aspects (money, beauty , and noble origin) That is clear in using (and-wa) and preferring the religion at the end,,
Besides, women seek in men the protection,,, and money is one way for that protection,,
And yes, most of the wealthy people who are married know that (their) wealth could be a help for (better choices according to them)

edit: Eman, a woman should tell her spouse about all her bank accounts of course,, what if she dies, how the guy gets His rights and his -with her children ,it is the same like when a man (should) tell his spouse about his bank accounts,,, actually not telling (from any side) makes the relation looks disgusting,,,

Marriage is not a war, or a chess game, it is (wesal wi ra7mah) , if it is started without trust,, will never gain any trust later ,,that is why there are lots of justified divorces these days...not because of the money ,but because of the disgusting,,lol
-A funny story: One day more than 20 years, I was working for a foreign company,and I had a female college who was married and told her husband that her salary was 400le , when she was pregnant , she asked me to have her salary , and bring the salary to her house,, it was 900le,, i went to her house like 10 o'clock , and to her bad luck i met her husband who was late that day on the stars, I was so embarrassed , when the guy asked me why I came,, I told him to deliver his wife her salary, so I had to give him the salary(i did not know she lied to him in the amount) He told me , (there was a mistake),, of course I told him NO,,, and I left,,, one hour later the woman (cut) her vacation and came to the office whining and asked me (to lie ) to her husband, which I completely refused,,, that made problems to her for like a year after,,,,I was wondering , why she brought the problems to her-self especially I knew that her husband never took her salary,,,, but being a smart does not mean to be a liar...
*It is so weird that we can trust our spouses on our souls and our bodies,, but not our bank accounts,, (as if we will take the money to our graves , and as if it is ours, not God's money,and we are just using it,,Allhumdallah that I am single....)

i think the first year proplems started,any way,,,,if wife dicovered that
she need to try to be sure this is the truth and try to change her husband atitude and face him with that but with very polite way that if she love and care of him,but if she don t,she have to ba careful coz the person in this time become a hungry lion,no limites,no rules.no red points,don t give him any thing to eat but teach him to hunt netx her eyes,it mean she can make project,store,,any smalll thing by this she teach him how to have to work to gain,,,not to sleep and depend on his wife money otherwise he is not a man or even a woman!!!!!!!
