What Claim Do The Palestinians Have Over The West Bank?

The name Palestine refers to a region of the eastern Mediterranean coast from the sea to the Jordan valley and from the southern Negev desert to the Galilee lake region in the north. The word itself derives from "Plesheth", a name that appears frequently in the Bible and has come into English as "Philistine"....

There was an interesting discussion on the BBC where a Jewish lady and a "Palestinian" woman were exchanging letters.

Of course the Israeli woman admitted freely that her family traveled to the area. The Arab woman brushed off the question of where her grandparents came from.

I'm sure you are familiar with the refuges that surrounding Arab nations hold in appalling conditions. It's quite clear that the so called "palestinians" are political pawns or proxys with which to both attack and guilt Israel into submission.

But on the other hand, there is no reason for peaceful co-existance with another arab state being founded on the West Bank - if the Arabs want that, which they don't. They're only interested in destroying Israel.

. They have a historical claim. They also have some "broken" treaties as signs of bad faith dealing.
