You can get a 204 from Jamaica Street (where McDonalds is), or a 216 from Stockwell Street. It takes about 30 - 40 minutes on the bus.

204,205,215 and 216 are all options for you which will be the fastest, the 66, 62, 40 and 42A all go to Clydebank too but take longer. These all take you to the main bus terminus in Clydebank which is right by the main shopping centre, do a map search to find out how far john knox street is from there (I think the street bus terminus is on is called Sylvannia way). www.firstgroup.com will give you timetable information and stops for each, as they all go from different parts of the town. The 200s all go from outside McDonalds on Jamaica st.
Also you could get a low level train from either Queen st station or Central station, and Clydebank train station is also outside the main shopping centre.

Get a 66 Firstbus from Hope Street in the city centre. They run every 15 minutes or so through the day. Or a 62, also from Hope Street at the Central Station, but it goes along St Vincent Street.

Get the 62 first bus outside Macdonalds on trongate or round at Jamaica st. You can get the 64 as well not sure if thats the same stop. The 40 also stops there and goes to Clydebank but takes longer
