Fees happen when you don't follow the rules.
They clearly state the rules online and when you open an account.
You will not like any bank if you cannot follow rules and avoid overdrafting.
Credit unions will have lower fees.
But start overdrafting with them and they will close your account.

Sorry, all banks charge for using other bank's ATM fees.
How about choosing a bank that is close to your home?
Or one with many locations?
Google their site to look up their fees.
If you ever ask questions, give a bit of details.
Did not know the fees you were getting where ATM fees.
You might consider an online bank - but I do not suggest this.
People usually have these as a second checking account.
