Transfer money from Australian bank to English one?I require a sort code in order to transfer money from my Australian bank to my English online. Can the BSB number provided by the Australian bank be stated as the sort code? Are the bsb codes and sort codes the same? Thanks :). |
Hi, BSB (bank state branch) is pretty much the same as sort codes. If you are transferring funds from your Australian Account to your English account you need to provide the Australian bank with your specific details so contact you english bank and ask them to provide the international bank account number (IBAN) and branch identifier code (BIC). You may also find these on your bank account statement. Hope this helps.
