The boardwalk at Keansburg which is about 10 miles away would be the only thing where they could actually do something. Monmouth Mall is about 10 miles south and the Woodbridge Mall is about 15 miles north.
Theres the Mommouth Mall a few exits south. Theres also Menlo Park Mall and Woodbridge Center a few exits to the north.
Theres also Keansberg, which is an amusement park/boardwalk.
All of these places require a car to get to from the Arts Center.
Other than the Vietnam War memorial nothing. It's in a park in the middle of the Garden State Parkway.
