The Housing lawsuit was about qualified people being denied loans because they lived in minority areas. It was proven in court banks...?

,...redlined these areas and denied qualified buyers on that basis. Why are conservatives so attached to their lies?

We can't be free with private lenders on top of us.

Public housing will save us all a BUNDLE that the banks don't need!

in minority, majority and other areas, too.

What lie? That a bank should be able to decide if their investment in an a specific area is wise? You only say minority area, you didn't say if it was a crime ridden area, a flood area, come on..you have to do better than this if you want to assign blame to someone other than yourself or your team.

You made sure that bank had to give that loan, even if the people couldn't afford it, so tell me again how it is the conservatives fault.

Peace Through Blinding Force

The RESULT of the lawsuit was to REQUIRE a proportionate amount of all lending be to those areas - from which virtually no qualified applications ever come. It further codified into "regulation" the presumption UNDER LAW that if any such politically designated area received less than "its share" of lending, that fact ALONE was PROOF of "illegal discrimination" for which officers would be PROSECUTED.
YOUR idols in YOUR Party exressly boasted about creating those specific conditions.

You've got that wrong.

It was about people being given loans they weren't qualified for and couldn't afford.
