So, if as these conservative die hard defenders of Israel claim, the West Bank is part of Israel, do those living in the West Bank vote for the Knesset and have a part in choosing the Prime Minister of Israel?

If they are classified as Israeli citizens, then yes they do. Not all residents of the West Bank are Israeli citizens. Like all residents of New York are not American citizens who can vote nor all residents of California are American citizens who can vote. Mexican residents living in Nogales Arizona cannot vote in Arizona elections if they are not actually residents of the nation nor the state.

In actuality, the people of the West Bank were Jordanians until 1967. Any arabs living in the area were granted Jordanian citizenship in 1949 (Jews were not afforded that "luxury, just arabs living in the area were). Jordan actually still claimed the area until 1988 and then cut all ties to it.

Since 1995, the PA have considered the area theirs and they issue passports to the residents and the residents vote in PA elections, that is the arab residents. As they have no interest in voting in Israeli elections, they vote in the PA elections.

About 20% of the population of Israel is not Jewish and most are muslim. If they are citizens of Israel, then yes, they vote. They hold positions of authority and sit on the knesset. Ibrahim Sarsur, Ahmad Tibi (who is currently the Deputy Speaker of the Knesset and was previously a henchman of Yasser Arafats), Masud Ghnaim (who wants Israel dismantled and a muslim caliphate created...he has no use for Jews), Taleb Abu Arar, Mohammad Barakeh, Afu Agbaria (who wants all Israeli Jews leaders tried for war crimes...so another member of the Knesset who has no use for Jews), Jamal Zahalka, Haneen Zoabi (a "palestinian arab Israeli citizen) are all arab Israeli's and obviously some are tied to "palestine" as well, who sit on the knesset, vote and run the country.

How many Jews sit in the governing bodies of arab countries again? oh right....yeah, none.

I have no idea why the SodaStream question was deleted but the reality is that even though the PA issues passports and tells the people they are citizens of a "palestinian" state that does not exist, Israel overseas the area. An Israeli company built the plant in the west bank and pay very well to Jews, xians and muslims who work in the plant. A "palestinian" working for SodaStream can make nearly $2,000 a month while the average minimum wage in "palestine" is $375 per month. For this, they are now being vilified.

Odd how that boycott the elite want to have against Israel is probably going to backfire and put nearly 800 "palestinians" out of good paying jobs. Way to go elite moron boycotters.

although a lot of Israelis colonist may want, the west bank is not part of Israel,
Israel never declared it part of it as it did it for the Golan and also the west bank administration is carry by Israel army and not by any civil Israeli authority, that in according of the international laws for occupied territories which weren't declared officially as integral part of the "ocupator" country.
