Question regarding making deposits with Bank of America?

I recently moved to NY from FL andd through a business deal this guy owes me 500.00, i think he'll be good for the money however I dont want him to know my address here in NY because he seems like a creep and weirded me out. I want to know if he can just deposit money into my account, not go into it or...

YES!

You can give him your bank account number, and he can deposit it into your account at his local branch.

There is nothing he can do with your account number.

If you don't feel confident with this, after the check has cleared, contact BofA and tell them that you lost your checkbook. They will issue a new account number and watch any withdrawals very carefully. You will have to tell them which outstanding checks need to be cashed.

My brother deposits money into his ex-girlfriend's account every two weeks for his daughter (she has custody). She lives in Florida and he lives in Maryland. She also has an account at BOA so it can be done. I think you'll have to give this man your bank account number though. And maybe the bank's routing number.

You should talk to a representative at the bank for more details and instructions on how it can be done.

Yes he can, but you must give him your account number in order for the money to be deposited into your account
