PLEASE HELP! Is it possible for a shopping site to drain my bank account?

I'm buying something from this site called Bonanza. It's like eBay. I've heard some scary stuff about websites like that. Can either drain out my back account? Can any shopping site drain out my bank account? Whats the worse that can happen?
