My Birth Certificate says Bank of New York on it?I heard Birth Certificates are bonds on anyone that has one. Is this true? If it is not true what in the world does the Bank of New York have to do with me and why are they on my Birth Certificate. Anyone that has a BC please look and see if yours has a "Bank of" on it. I find your story extremely difficult to believe. I have seen plenty of birth certificates from at least half a dozen states, and I have NEVER seen one that says 'Bank of' ANYTHING on it.
The Bank of New York does (or did) exist as a privately owned entity. It is not part of any government.

I was told coping a birth certificate is illegal however I can copy the bottom part right next to the seal. It's as clear as day you don't need a magnifying glass or anything. This is only if you have some kind of understanding or answer. Are you familiar with BC's or are you just another Yahoo yahoo trying to earn answer points???

Midwest Bank Note Company is a printer of banknotes and other secure documents. They happen to have the contract for printing the blank birth certificate forms for the state of New York. Here is a link to their web site:

Midwest Bank Note Company is not a bank of any kind. I am completely amazed that people don't realize this. Midwest Bank Note Company also prints the blank birth certificate forms for Utah, Vermont, and Texas.
Like the other person said, its the name of the printing comoany, nothing more. My Canadian birth certifcate says "Canadian Banknote Co" which is the printing company only. Like yours the Cdn Banknote Co is a specialized printing company that prints high security documents with high security features...similar to what you want in a foundation document (one that forms the basis of all other documents such as SS docs and passports) so that is remains secure.
Your mom must've had many depositers.
