Before you pick up the car, talk to your insurance agent and get insurance coverage on it. The bank will require a full-coverage policy, naming the bank as the lien-holder.
The dealer should be able to arrange for a temporary registration or transit permit so you can take it home. Check with your local DMV office to find the details on registration and inspections.
