Isn't Mecca a sign of peace unlike the persecutions in Gaza and the West bank?

Many millions are gathered in peace and yet others are persecuted by a facist regime.

Mecca is to terrorists as Disneyland is to Americans.

Some US allies, such as Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, are at the forefront of the persecution of Christians.

In fact, the U.K.-based Release International notes that the harshest persecution in 2008 is likely to take place in Saudi Arabia and North Korea, two of the nations where Christianity is still illegal.

Release International reports that Saudi Arabia punishes with jail or expulsion anyone who is involved in evangelism or who converts a Muslim.

What's worse, Christian leaders in Saudi Arabia have actually been threatened with execution.

The Release International survey reports, "For many years, one of the most repressive Islamic nations has been Saudi Arabia. As guardian of Islam's holiest sites Mecca and Medina, Saudi law forbids all other religions and threatens evangelists with execution. The government bans all Christian literature yet spends billions of dollars each year propagating Islam around the world."

Perhaps we should insist that the Saudis give the same rights to all religions in their land as they get in ours.

Another disturbing aspect of this global report is the finding that Christians do not even have safe haven in supposedly moderate Muslim nations:

"Even seemingly moderate Muslim countries' governments often fail to safeguard the rights of their Christian minorities.

Christians suffer kidnapping, forced conversion to Islam, imprisonment, destruction of churches, discrimination in education, employment, housing and the legal system, executions, rape of Christian girls and torture."

Mecca is not symbolic of anything remotely resembling Peace. It is only that to true believers of the Muslim religion.
If you are calling the Jew facist then it's a matter of belief....Christians stay true to Jesus because he was a Jew. The beliefs of Christ were given to the gentiles because the Jews never accepted him as the Messiah. The temple of Mohammed (Mosque of Omar) is built on the foundation of the of the temple of the Jews. Jewish religion forbids destruction of other holy building sites....The war that goes on there is because the Jews were given the land and then punished and cast out of Jerususalem for the rejection the land was NEVER taken from them though in their absence is was occupied by what is actually their cousins ...hence Mohammed takes over.
The was is a war of Good and Evil righteous and unrighteous.
The most facinating part of history is the history of the Jews . Unfortunately most people have no clue what they are talking about.

Contrary to popular belief Mecca is only this
Mecca is the Holy City of Islam, although the city had religious importance before the advent of Islam. It is located in the western region of Saudi Arabia, near the Red Sea. Technically, the city is formally known as Makkah al-Mukaaramah, translating into English as “Mecca the Blessed.” The Saudi Arabian government has pushed many English speaking nations to adopt Makkah as the proper transliteration from Arabic, rather than Mecca.

I think if you read the brief article in the above link you will understand what mecca really is and what it means.

2 huge differences between Jesus and Muhammed.
JESUS: had no slaves. Jesus taught to do to others as you would have them do to you. Jesus had no slaves, and it is apparent from His teachings that He would not have slaves. He freed men, not enslaved them. No one wants to be enslaved against their will.

MUHAMMAD: was a slaver. He owned and sold many slaves, both male and female. He said Allah allowed him and his Muslim followers to have sex with their female slaves when the men wanted to. Reference the Quran, Sura (chapters) 33:50, 52, 23:5, and 70:30. Slaves are considered "booty" for Muslims when taken in raids, thus they are Muslim's property. Muhammad felt proud and conceited enough to enslave thousands of people.

The first people to buy and sell slaves were Muslims they bought them from the African cheifs when they captured their enimies of battle and sold them to Muslims. America was not the first country to own and have slaves.
Jesus was born about 600 years BEFORE Mohammed so any references to Jesus in the Quaran were taken directly from the life of the first born Savior Jesus.
