Is Seth Mitchell making a big mistake in fighting Johnathan Banks so soon?

What is the big rush to put Mitchell back in the ring with Banks after getting knocked out in the second round. As a fighter it takes time to get your head together after a loss but when you get ko it takes even longer. Mitchell does not have the amature back ground going into tournaments and fighting the same guy...

hello flash i couldn't agree more if mitchel loses again that will be him over with as a contender they need to get his confidence back with a couple of wins ,it's not as if that everyone will rate him no1 for beating banks so there's a lot to lose and not a lot to be gained .

I agree with you, but I have to commend Mitchell for wanting to try and avenge his loss. I have a feeling he will be better prepared this time around, but let it be known that Banks is the better-skilled fighter, having been trained under the late great Emanuel Steward. I sense a win for Banks again unless Mitchell can adjust.

We all know who Johnathan Banks needs to fight; he's got one loss to a very good opponet. That opponent is fighting against someone he beat before he beat Banks; that person is Tomasz Adamek.

If Banks isent going to fight anyone who is a legit heavyweight contender then he needs to fight someone who is a 2nd rate contender and who gave him his only loss.

I am actually impressed that he is willing to try to redeem himself. I do think it is too soon. He was knocked out and the trouble was that that he did not know how to react once he was hurt. He did not hold. He need to have instincts that tell him to wrap up when he is hurt. But I think amateur experience would have better prepared him for that...no time to learn though. His time is now. He's got to do it now.
