Is investment banking a boring job?

eh, depends on your interests. if you like sitting in conference rooms for hours, exchanging emails and calls trying to get deals done and excessive hobnobbing where you are a salesman, not just a guest, then its fun.

Likely anything you do for work will be enjoyable for a couple of months before you settle into the drudge routine so if you are looking for a fun career look for something which utilizes your hobby skills and makes a decent amount of money.

Any job can (more than likely IS) boring.

You just have to find something that no matter how often you do it, you get some kind of jolly from it.
