The Gores and corruption go back to the old man. People that had business before the Senate would come to Al Sr. He would sell them cattle and their contracts would be awarded. He stole a scene from the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" for his rip off movie. It is a scene of an ice cap. Al does a voice over and helicopter fly over saying the ice cap is so many feet high and is melting. The thing is the ice cap does not exist. It was computer generated for the Day After Tomorrow. Remember his 100 foot house boat. Anything that long and as flat bottomed has to be powered by twin diesels. Its o.k. though. Al says they are bio diesel. Still they exhaust under water most of the running time and have to burn at least 55 gallons an hour.

What a bunch of morons. My city allowed three peaker power plants to be built. They bought carbon credits. These power plants run 24-7. They do not supply our power grid. They go to one of the largest cites in America. Hate to tell you sheep this but the pollution has increased here since the firing up of the three turbines. So when do these carbon credits start working.

I agree that he may have chosen the wrong bandwagon to ride. Based on the quality of your question, mixing metaphores, improper use of vocabulary, etc, I'd say his influence would be better spent on changing and improving the educational system in this country. It will take an educated population to "fix" the ecological woe's we face today and in the future.

The vast vast vast majority of scientists agree that climate change is real and that man contributes to it. It's all about the CO2 in the air. They measure the amount of CO2 in pockets of air deep down in layers of ice (trapped hundreds of years ago) and compare them to CO2 levels today. Guess what? it's WAY higher now than it was then. CO2 holds moisture in the air. That moisture holds heat and the rest is history.
Don't worry about what Al Gore is doing. You're trying to imply that his message is wrong because he makes money by teaching it. It's irrelevant what his house costs. Plus he uses solar panels on his "mansion" for electricity.
