I am going to guess that this a National Bank Note from Newport National Bank of Newport, Rhode Island, Charter number 1492.
The dealer linked below has one that grades Fine in his inventory for $560.

Bear in mind that this assumes that your note is from this exact bank and isn't excessively worn or damaged. If this isn't the right bank, you need to include the state the bank is located in and the charter number (in large blue numerals on each side of the note). Newport National Bank of Newport, Kentucky (Charter 4765) or Newport, Delaware (Charter 997) are two of several other possibilities.
In the year of 1905 it was worth so much. I'm not sure if it is still worth anything here in 2009.
well, it's worth at least 5 dollars . . .
depending on the condition of the bill, it could be worth up to $150 based upon what I've seen in collecting stores. Best bet would be to find one or two of them and ask them for their opinion.
Go look on eBay.
