I know it's considered a rare bird by some. There aren't many folks around here who buy such things, what is the fastest and safest way to sell, ebay? Has anyone ever tried ebay and is it safe?

def ebay. i agree to use a reserve. why not check out the value @ becketts.com yourself, keeping in mind the high book value is with absolutely NO imperfections whatsoever, and go from there. becketts also has an auction service, as does nascar.com.

1989 Kodiak #27 Pontiac/Rusty Wallace Bank, made by Action in 1995.

Book value: $200

Real value: $100 tops

List it on eBay starting at $75, but don't be surprised if it doesn't sell right away. You may not get any bids, but don't lower your price below $75. Include several clear pictures of the car, both in and out of it's plastic display case, and of the box it came in. If you don't have the original box, lower your price (and expectations) by $25.

its only worth as much as someone will pay. Ebay is normally safe to use but there is so much other stuff on Ebay it's hard to get alot of bidders. It's up to you. If you don't get what you want for it then you have to sell it anyways to the high bidder. But if you put a reserve on it you can name the price but reserve actions are not bid on much for those cars. try www.gomotorbids.com that website is safe and there are alot of people going there to sell and buy. Also try www.nascar.com they now have actions I don't know who runs it but its safe also.

Ebay is the best place to put it up. If you are worried about it not drawing what you think it is worth, put a reserve on it. They are actually running a no insertion fee period until the end of Sept.
good Luck.

I will give you one million dollars to sleep with your.... I mean for your rare bird:)
Make sure you have a reserve if its near and dear to you.
Otherwise you could let it go for way less than you want to....

Maybe call Rusty Wallace and see if he wants to buy it...
