First thing you have to do is file a police report for identity thef and fraud, and ask for a copy of the report!.The police might have said it is not upto them - ask to talk to their supervisor. Tell them you want to file a report.

Next you have to notify the bank to put a hold on your account and report what has happened, and show the report on request. Make sure you put a hold on the account, and ask for transactions pages.

Afterwards - you will want to contact apple care customer support and tell them what happened.

You will want at last contact apple.
they will require an ID proof and the police report [to prove it is a legitimate fraud claim]
As well as a list of the transaction ID #'s.

Every second counts, so don't take your time with it.

It is a police matter so you should contact them again and insist that you want the fraud case dealt with properly.

It will be someone who has details of your account and access to your Apple ID so likely to be someone you know.
