Bank of America is a weak company like most of other banking firms. They made some of the dumbest mistakes ever. They invested billions of dollar into Countrywide about a month before its insolvency, the initial Bank of America were worth penny, to curb all the bad PR, they eventually swallowed Countrywide. Another mistake is Merrill Lynch, buying Merrill Lynch was an excellent decision, but they sure overpaid on the deal. They did a share swap deal that value Merrill at $29, a month later, Merrill is selling for $15 on the market. Bank of America's stocks have taken major hits due to weak leadership.
